DTF Supplies That Don't Waste Your Money

Best printer in the world means nothing if your film curls or your white settles.

Cheap ink bands. Cheap powder leaves grit and fails wash tests. Cheap film jams and ruins 10 transfers at once.

We've seen it. A shop in Berry Hill reprinted 100 shirts because powder didn't melt. That's why we only stock what we run ourselves.

DTF Ink - CMYK + White, 1L Bottles

Pigment-based for i3200 heads. CMYK is vibrant, fast-drying, no banding when your profile's dialed. White is the bottle that matters most. Ours circulates so it doesn't settle. Lays down opaque on darks, cures flexible, no cracking after 50 washes. A shop doing 200 gang sheets a week burns about 2L CMYK and 1L white a month.

UV DTF Ink + Varnish - For The UV Printers

Same pigment quality. White base for brightness on dark and clear surfaces, CMYK for color, plus clear varnish for gloss, matte, or 3D texture. Cures fast under UV. No pretreat needed for tumblers and acrylic.

Hot Melt Powder For DTF - 80-200 Micron TPU

This is what makes it stick. 80-200 micron is the sweet spot. Too fine and it blows away. Too coarse and the shirt feels like sandpaper. Ours shakes off clean, no speckles. White powder for everything. Black powder for dark art on light shirts - kills that white halo. 1kg bags, melts at 160°C. Store it dry. Humidity kills powder.

PET Transfer Film - 75 Micron, Cold Peel, Double-Sided Coated

Single-coated film curls. It jams. Ours doesn't. Double-sided coated, 75 micron, feeds flat and releases clean at room temp. No puddling. Stocked in 13", 24", and 60cm rolls, 100m long. We keep 60cm in stock for walk-in pickup because we know you need it tomorrow.

How To Pick The Right DTF Supplies For Your Volume

For daily production: Run our standard combo. 75 micron film, 80-200 micron powder, circulating white ink. That's what all Platonink models are profiled on here.

For dark garments: White powder + heavy white ink base. Press at 300°F for 10 seconds, medium pressure.

For light garments: Black adhesive powder. Sharper edges, no white outline.

For retail brands: Don't cheap out. Finer powder, smoother film, better ink = softer hand and better wash. Customers feel it.

A typical shop running 200 sheets a day uses about 2L CMYK ink, 1L white, one roll of film a week, and 3kg powder a month. We price it so you keep margin.

Accessories That Save You Headaches

The printer is half the battle.

RIP Software. Controls color and layout. We give you profiles that actually work with our ink and film.

Humidity control. Tennessee winters are dry. A £40 humidifier will save you a £400 head.

Cleaning kits. Swabs, solution, syringe, capping flush. Ten minutes on Friday saves you Monday morning.

Filter systems and powder shakers. Keep dust off film. Dust = dots in your print. Shakers give you a consistent cure if you don't have inline.

We bundle this stuff with printers. But you can grab it all here too.

Frequently Asked Questions

We carry five Platonink models. 2 Head 24" for startups, 4 Head 60cm for growing shops, 5 Head 60cm for production, plus 16" and 24" 3 Head UV DTF printers for tumblers, signs, and promo hard goods.

The 2 Head 24" DTF printer. It's affordable, easy to learn, fits in a small shop, and handles 50 to 300 transfers a day. Prints on cotton, poly, and blends. Perfect if you're bringing transfers in-house for the first time.

Buy DTF for apparel. Buy UV DTF for hard goods. DTF needs PET film and powder and presses onto fabric. UV DTF prints direct to tumblers, wood, acrylic, phone cases with no powder. Many shops run both for extra revenue.

For DTF printers you need three things: PET transfer film, hot melt powder, and DTF ink (CMYK + white). For UV DTF printers you need UV DTF ink, white ink, and varnish. No film or powder needed for direct prints.

75 micron, double-sided coated, cold peel PET film in 13", 24", or 60cm rolls. And 80-200 micron TPU hot melt powder. That's the sweet spot. Feeds flat, shakes off clean, soft hand, no speckles, and passes 50+ washes.

A shop doing 200 gang sheets a week uses about 2L CMYK, 1L white ink per month, one 100m roll of film per week, and 3kg powder per month. Heavy coverage and dark shirts will burn more white and powder.

White powder works on everything. Black powder is for light shirts with dark art. It stops that white halo around your design. Both are 80-200 micron TPU, melt at 160°C. Just pick based on garment and design color.

Yes. Every printer comes with RIP software and profiles dialed for our ink and film. We include setup and training - how to load film, use the shaker, cure, and maintain heads. And we actually answer the phone when you call.

The 5 Head 60cm. Five i3200 heads with inline powder shaker and dryer. It's built to run all day without stopping. If you're a production house doing thousands of transfers weekly, this is the machine that keeps up.
