Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How do I know if Hot Melt Glue Powder is high quality?
High-quality hot melt glue powder is made with top-notch TPU, so it sticks smoothly and moves with your fabric. Your prints will be super clear and will last through many washes. They'll also be bendy and stretchy, so no cracking! A bad quality hot glue powder causes the prints to fade and crack.
Q2: Will it work with my DTF printer?
Yes! It’s made to work with pretty much all DTF printers and PET films. It's tested and compatible with Epson printers like the ET-8550, ET-8500, XP-15000, and L1800. No matter the film size or your printing method, our hot glue powder will work great.
Q3: What temperature should I set my heat press to?
First, cure it at 210–250°F for 2–4 minutes; you'll know it’s ready when it looks shiny. Following this, press it onto your fabric at 300–325°F. This makes sure the print sticks tight.
Q4: What peel type works best with the Powder?
Our Hot glue powder works with both peel types. Peel it hot or cold, it doesn’t matter. Just make sure that you are using the right temperature settings with both peels to ensure consistent, durable results.
Q5: What fabrics work with this powder?
Pretty much anything! Cotton, polyester, canvas, denim, leather, and even blends. Any color of clothing is fine, too. Additionally, it's perfect for customizing shoes, bags, and other types of merch.
