Step-by-Step Instructions
1
Garment Preparation & Setup:
Smooth out wrinkles, seams, or lint. Apply a 2 to 3 second pre-press to extract moisture and flatten the surface. Position your transfer and align carefully before pressing.
2
First Heat Press:
Press at 290°F to 320°F (145°C to 160°C) for 8 to 9 seconds with maximum/high pressure to fuse adhesive into the fibers.
3
Hot Peel Technique:
Music City DTF transfers are strictly hot peel. Remove the film immediately while still hot. Pull smoothly sideways across the fabric rather than straight upward.
4
Second Press (Lock-in):
Cover with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet and press for another 5 to 10 seconds under high pressure to soften the hand feel and maximize wash durability.
Garment Care & Washing Instructions
- Turn the garment inside out before washing.
- Machine wash in cold water using mild detergent.
- Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh stain removers.
- Hang to air dry or tumble dry on low heat settings.
- Never iron directly onto the printed transfer.
